Injection molding is a repetitive process in which melted plastic is injected into a mold cavity or cavities where it is held under pressure until it is removed from a solid state, basically duplicating the cavity of the mold.

Sometimes plastic is wrongly considered as a material destined to simple applications with a scarce added value. During the last years however, there has been an extraordinary evolution in the domain of synthesized materials involving a large number of very technologically advanced applications.

The definition plastic injection molding refers to the production process of finished items. The melted polymer is fuelled in a mould where it is shaped through compression and cooling. ABS, Polycarbonate, PVC, rubber, Nylon, Polypropylene, Polyethylene and thermoplastic rubber, are just some of the materials used in this kind of manufacturing processes. Nowadays in the domain of the plastic injection molding there are many companies that have become partners of many other industries of finished products because thanks to the molding technology design and planning are practically unified and applied to become remunerative.

The so-called rotational molding is applied to produce complex parts of big dimensions in many sectors such as seamanship (canoes, kayaks, floats, floating docks, etc), furniture (sofas, armchairs, etc), urban furniture and playgrounds.
