CNC machining is a process of cutting unwanted material from a solid block of raw material or from a pre-existing part.

CNC offers much higher accuracy than any RP process, and it can produce large and/or complex metal and plastic parts in your material of choice.

It is limited, however, in the range of shapes that it can produce in one piece but the pattern can easily be fabricated together.
